Yesterday we left Quito for Mindo. On the way to Mindo we
stopped at the Equator, where we took pictures standing in two hemispheres. There
were also llamas!!!!!! There was also a bug museum where we saw huge beetles
and spiders and other big bugs. We got to hold Hercules beetles and some of us
freaked out a little (Sarah Jane literally cried). It was really funny
especially when Sarah Jane dropped it and the pictures were priceless. The rest
of the drive to Mindo was really pretty as we descended into the cloud forest.
Later that day we had our first photo critique by Massimo. He gave us a lot of
helpful tips!
